Carly's Engaged

This week we got the great news that my sister Carly and her Long time boyfriend Justin are engaged. While the wedding may be far away I have found a few things for her wedding. I know how stressful it
is I am going to be her mentor along the way.

Her wedding dress. Carly has been
a long time fan of Jenna Bush and anything
patriotic, I think this is perfact for her.

I'll be wearing something like this
to her wedding

This cake is so beautiful!

More Christmas...

When I think of Christmas time I think of
the real meaning of Christmas, however I can't also
help but think of.....

Indulging in the handmade
chocolates that my "Own" Grandma
use to make.
Once I am done with my sugar high
I go to my "Salt Lake" Grandma's house and
kick back a six pack with my mom.
Listening to this record over and over and over
The claymation Rudolph the red
nosed reindeer and Frosty the snowman.
Playing Uno with Carly using only
the red, green and wild cards.

And of course White Christmas.

My Mom's "Poop Balls" that are similar to this recipe.
CHOCOLATE WHIP COOKIES
2 lg (1/2 lb.) Hershey bars with almonds
9 oz. Cool Whip
Vanilla wafers, crushed
Melt Hershey bars in a double boiler, then stir in Cool Whip. Take in teaspoonfuls and roll in vanilla wafer crumbs. Freeze until set. Good and creamy!! Keep in refrigerator or freezer.

Christmas time is here again!

I love Christmas time.
Korea celebrates Christmas on a very low-keyed
level. Most businesses take Christmas day off
and go back to work the next day. I know of some
hag wons that are not even closing for Christmas.
luckily we will get two weeks off to go visit my
family.

It is hard to think that it has been a year since
last Christmas. This year has not been exactly easy,
but the ride and the views have been worth it.

This will always be my favorite Christmas Tree.
This is this year's tree. It is a little more
flashy compared to last year's. Our pocket
books are a little heavier than last year and the Korean
all a dollar is a lot closer than the Oahu one was.
