A week of visitors

It has been great to have visitors come and stay with us.
The week before last my bestest friend for the past decade or so
Destin, my Auntie and Uncle
and my Cousin Heather and her husband Doug came to Monterey.
Their visits helped ease the pain of my MIA parents who
chose the mountains over a visit with their granddaughter.
Hey not my fault that Ha Jyn called Aunt Bonnie "Grandma."
Now that I got that guilt trip out of the way....
I had a great time!!
I miss them and am sad to have a quite house again.
Here's a few things we did....

Destin watching the whales
Baby Ha Jyn having fun

Us three years ago making our same "super excited" faces.
I have pictures of us over 10 years ago with the same exact expressions.
The background, our hair colors, my weight, destin's height all change.. but our
sarcastic mug's never do.

My cousin Heather and her husband Doug with
Ha Jyn. They had to suffer through my one hit wonder
"Rockin' Ha Jyn" only about fifty million times. But as you can
see Ha Jyn loved to have them stay with us!

They helped me expand my repertoire to
Ha Jyn popping on the Ha Jyn Tree
Once there was a Ha Jyn

Twinkle Twinkle little Ha Jyn
I believe there were more, but the only thing
that would momentarily sidetrack Ha Jyn from hating her
car seat was Rockin' Ha Jyn.

생일 축하 함니다 어머님!!! Happy Birthday to my Mother in law!

My Mother in law recently celebrated her 70th birthday.
In Korea a 70th birthday is similar to what Americans might do for
a 100th birthday. Boo and I really wish we could have
celebrated with her. Here is a picture of the family at the party.
Notice my new niece You Jin?
I can't wait for her and Ha Jyn to get a chance to
meet and make trouble together!

My baby is 6 months old!!!

I can't believe that Ha Jyn is 6 months old today.
She is getting so old so fast!
Today she was a little grump and wanted to only cuddle with
me all day.
But in no time she will just probably want to be doing
anything but so I need to relish days like today!
I love you baby Ha Jyn! You are the apple of my eye!

Here she is today at 6 months!

"I do declare I will one day run the world!"

The tickle monster who can't multi task

Here's baby Ha Jyn being attacked by the tickle monster.
She is just how I am. She laughs even at the thought of being tickled.

And here is the tickle monster's dinner that she
forgot about as she was distracted by her adorable laughing baby!
Sorry neighbors and yes I am available anytime to test your fire alarms.
Just ask me to cook for you!

Auntie Carol
I use to call this Boo's Father Womb. Ha Jyn did not
feel comfortable in it because of my Dolly Parton-ness.
But now that I can carry her facing outside she loves it.
This is now how we take Juny out for walks.
Ha Jyn has English story time everyday,
but about once a week she gets lucky and has Korean story time.
I love our library they have a small collection of Korean story books!

Ha Jyn went swimming for the first time.
She did great! She loves to kick and eat my chin!

My two ladies!

Almost!!

She hasn't slept like this since she was a tiny baby!
