대한민국 보고싶어요!! I miss Korea! Korea the last week..(long post sorry)

I miss Korea. The last few weeks went by really fast.
We said our goodbyes and also traveled around the country
with my second oldest sister Jenn and her boyfriend Scott as well
as Yong Mun, Boo's brother. Almost everything went smooth in Korea.
When we got to America in the San Fransisco we got
stranded at the airport because of our dog. Thanks to Jenn's
friend Tasha we did not have to sleep overnight at the airport.
We ended up driving home from San Fransisco. It was a little scary,
I had to drive the whole way and I hadn't driven in almost two years.
But now we are in St. George recovering nicely.

So starting with the most recent pictures...

The Californian country side.
One perk of being stranded in San Francisco and
driving to St. George.

Tasha, Jenn's friend from high school came to our
rescue and let us stay at her house in San Francisco.
It was a big deal considering the last time I saw her was around
12 years ago. And on top of that I brought my dog, my husband and all of
our belongings.

My dreams of buying his old house and fixing it
up to retire in have come to an end. Not only did the
roof cave in but they are going to tare it down and
make the road wider.

Our Boss and one of her new teachers

The "Stick of love" some of the Korean teachers
used. At times I wanted to use it but I never did.

I am convinced that one of my students wrote this.
I walked past it every day wondering which of them
it was and wondering if I should teach my
students how to spell it correctly.
My class of High Schoolers. By far my hardest class to teach.
But in the end I think they learned something from me......
Maybe...hopefully.

My favorite student Jiny. When he came he only
knew the word Nintendo. Now he is fluent in English.

Benny who hates English, but once brought a stray cat to our class.
He named the cat Be-Benny inspired by his English name.

Frankie. I loved this kid and hated him at the same time.
His favorite phrase was "캣 방귀" (Cat farted)

Tommy who brought his hamster to class
every time it rained.
Jollie and Holli

My all time favorite class. Teaching them never
felt like a job.

The Last Week

This week is our last week of work in Korea.
Next week Jenn and Scott come to visit and then we
leave Korea.
Ever since I lived moved to St. George back in 2000 I have moved every year and a
half. (St. George, Salt Lake, Wisconsin, Hawaii and now Korea)
Now we are on to Monterrey for a year and a half.
It is always a little sad in the end. But I know that we
will live in Korea again soon.

I am going to miss seeing things like
this everyday.

On Sunday we visited our friends who
took care of our dog while we
went to America for Christmas.

Mi Ran and I.

Ye Rin, using a form of Oriental
medicine to help her get rid of her cold.

Boo has had a sty for the past week so Ho Jue
showed him where to put the medicine to get rid of
his sty.

It is almost like a small cigarette filled with herbs and
other medicine. You just put it on a certain part of your
hand depending where you are sick.
I want to learn more about Oriental medicine.
Boo's sty went away the next day.
This was our last week at church.
We watched the cutest boy in our ward
punch his brother and give him a bloody nose.
He felt so bad and was crying when he said sorry to his brother.

Our favorite family in the ward.
