Belly Pictures

I am generally against pregnant belly pictures.
Well when it comes to my own belly I am against it.
Other people's smile away I could care less.
I just don't see anything really impressive about my fat
stretched-marked belly.
Although after some research there are fat bellies out there to be impressed by!
So which belly is mine?
Any guesses?

The Best Two Days

Sunday and Monday were the best two days I have
had in awhile.

Sunday because my Sister Jenn announced that her and
Scott are engaged.
This is a picture of them the day they got engaged.
I am really happy for them and excited as well.
I've always admired him for coming to Utah
year after year for Christmas. He could of gone to
much more exciting places and use his vacation time there.
But the fact that he came knowing he was going to be forced to
play while Elephant games, put up with our family and everything else made
me realize just how much he loves my Sister.
I love this picture I think it would be the best
picture of them together if it weren't for.....

This one!

Monday was great because we finally got to see...
HER!!!

It feels so good to see to finally get a glimpse of her!
I love you already Baby Hae Bin!!

Ultra Sounds and Baby names

Tomorrow morning we FINALLY get our ultrasound!
I can't wait to see the creature that has been kicking me
for the past two weeks. I love to feel the kicks because
it reminds me, "oh yeah there is something besides fat growing in there."
and "There is a reason for all my hormonal craziness"
So we both think it is going to be a girl.
Her name will be (listen for the drum roll)

Hae Bin Son
손 혜 빈

(With an undecided English middle name)

Now for a disclosure to the family.
You are ALL intelligent people.
You CAN figure out how to pronounce this name.
I DON'T care if you don't like it.
If you don't like DON'T TELL ME!
Be nice and talk BEHIND my back about how you
don't like it.

The thing is...
I don't want my kids not knowing who these wonderful
people are.

and the beautiful untouched village that their Dad is from

and chances that they won't forget that will grow exponentially
if they have an everyday reminder that they are not American.
They are KOREAN American!
and now I am done with my crazy pregnant lady rant
and will go to bed.

Labor Day

This Labor Day was great! Boo and I
decided to take a break and go to the
beach. We went to the same one what we
saw with my Mom and Dad. Only when we were
with them we could not find the entrance to the beach.
So Boo and I found the entrance and the mile walk to it was
well worth it. A few minutes after we got there we saw a bunch
of dolphins swim past us. Plus there were tons of dogs there so
Juny was in heaven as well. After we went to our new favorite
fruit stand. It was the perfect day!

Juny and I

When we were with my parents last weekend we
found this great fruit and vegetable stand.
For around $9 we got:
2 bags of cherries
1 bag of grapes
3 boxes of blackberries
3 zucchini
3 summer squash
5 artichokes
1 bag of walnuts
green onions
cabbage

From now on even though it is out of our way
we are going to make the 15 mile trip up there.
It is well worth the gas money!

Mom and Dad come to visit!

My parents came to visit for the weekend.
It was fun to have them, but their visit was just to short.
We did a lot of fun things.

On Saturday we went to fisherman's warf for lunch,

And the famous Aquarium,
Boo and I's favorite Sea Otters.

Dad with the Jelly Fish
I'm starting to come to terms with the fact that I am
showing. So here is a rare photo of me that is not from the
shoulders up.

Sea Dragons

On Sunday we went on 17 mile drive.
Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!!

Later we went up towards Santa Cruz to a really
beautiful beach. Boo, Juny and I are going to go back
there today.

We found a really cheap fruit stand in Watsonville.
We got tons of fruit for under $13.
How do you like Boo's new rack?

Mom, Dad and I at the airport.
I was so happy that they came!
Juny was really sad when we came back home without
them.

The truth about being pregnant

I think that the special "pregnancy glow"
is all a facade.
When you see a pregnant women and you think "ohh
how precious she has that sweet motherly look"
My guess is that like new born babies, it's only gas.
Or perhaps she has just put someone firmly in their place.
Maybe she's glowing because she now weighs more than a biggest loser
contestant on day one and just the process of standing up causes her to "glow".
I know that I have no room to complain as I have gone through the first half of
my pregnancy without any morning sickness. However I have had mourning sickness.
I mourn my old body that use to fit in my clothes. I mourn my old butt
that has now doubled in size. I mourn my old chest that does not feel like it is on fire.
I mourn being able to control my gas. Much more I mourn being able to control my emotions.
They say that all of this is worth it once you see the baby.
We should get to see our baby via ultrasound in about two weeks time.
I will let you know then if it is true or not.
