This year Ha Jyn decided she wanted
an animal theme for her party.
The monkey mask invitations turned out a tad creepy! hahaha
It was my second time to make a pinata. This was the one thing Ha Jyn really wanted.
I was teasing her and Jason that I was going to fill it with broccoli and they almost cried!
Animals running wild in my house!
The birthday girl waking up to her new tent.
After it was all done, Ha Jyn said her favorite part was eating the cupcakes.
Pinata vrs. bubble wand
(we forgot to bring something to brake it with).
In the end Boo ripped it apart with his hands.
It was pretty funny.
Games and homemade pizza. The weather was AMAZING.
Monterey's summer usually comes around in February and October.
I was so grateful it was not raining. The hit of the party was
definitely Jason and Celine's bounce house.
After a three hour nap to recuperate,
Ha Jyn requested the beach
and blowing out more candles.
Since it was a long weekend we decided to leave church
after teaching our Sunday school class and go on an overnight
vacation.
The best of both worlds: tennis on cable for Boo and
a California king sized trampoline for Ha Jyn.
We drove south through Big Sur and were able to see
Grey Whales migrating south as well as elephant seals.
We got to Morro bay just in time to collect sand dollars
and watch the sunset.
I had read about bubblegum alley in San Luis Obispo and needed to see it for myself.
It was disgusting, even for me. My favorite part were the
scripture quotes and phone numbers people hung up with their gum.
A ghetto zoo whose main attraction was their turkey.
We came home to find that Ha Jyn's long awaited
art desk had arrived. Between that and
her tent it looks as though
we are going to have to suspend the baby's crib from the ceiling!
