대한민국 보고싶어요!! I miss Korea! Korea the last week..(long post sorry)

I miss Korea. The last few weeks went by really fast.
We said our goodbyes and also traveled around the country
with my second oldest sister Jenn and her boyfriend Scott as well
as Yong Mun, Boo's brother. Almost everything went smooth in Korea.
When we got to America in the San Fransisco we got
stranded at the airport because of our dog. Thanks to Jenn's
friend Tasha we did not have to sleep overnight at the airport.
We ended up driving home from San Fransisco. It was a little scary,
I had to drive the whole way and I hadn't driven in almost two years.
But now we are in St. George recovering nicely.

So starting with the most recent pictures...

The Californian country side.
One perk of being stranded in San Francisco and
driving to St. George.

Charlie attacking Juny Ju

Tasha, Jenn's friend from high school came to our
rescue and let us stay at her house in San Francisco.
It was a big deal considering the last time I saw her was around
12 years ago. And on top of that I brought my dog, my husband and all of
our belongings.

Juny in the Korean airport with Eun Yong.

Preparing for the 10 hour flight.

Yummy Korean food in Seoul

Boo in Seoul

The river walkway

Saying goodbye to Steve

And Betty

My mother-in-law, our Auntie and Boo's cousin
My sister Jenn, Boo and I at Boo's old house.

My dreams of buying his old house and fixing it
up to retire in have come to an end. Not only did the
roof cave in but they are going to tare it down and
make the road wider.

The tombs in Gyoung Ju

Visting Boo's dads grave one last time.

Juny having fun running around.

A dog we met along our travels.

Our Boss and one of her new teachers

The "Stick of love" some of the Korean teachers
used. At times I wanted to use it but I never did.

I am convinced that one of my students wrote this.
I walked past it every day wondering which of them
it was and wondering if I should teach my
students how to spell it correctly.
My class of High Schoolers. By far my hardest class to teach.
But in the end I think they learned something from me......
Maybe...hopefully.

My favorite student Jiny. When he came he only
knew the word Nintendo. Now he is fluent in English.

Benny who hates English, but once brought a stray cat to our class.
He named the cat Be-Benny inspired by his English name.

Frankie. I loved this kid and hated him at the same time.
His favorite phrase was "캣 방귀" (Cat farted)

Tommy who brought his hamster to class
every time it rained.
Jollie and Holli

My all time favorite class. Teaching them never
felt like a job.
