Welcome to Little America

I now have an Oven! (Most houses in Korea don't have ovens).
As you can see it is just the perfect size for
how often I use an oven.
I am actually really excited, our boss gave it
to us. I am going to make rolls tomorrow!!
It will be the first time in....ever!

Happy Halloween!!

Halloween!!

I'm to sexy for my wig, to sexy for my wig,
so sexy it hurts!

Who could resist us?

Juny Was a lion for halloween!
Glamor Shots
I tried going as grapes for my costume, but it looked
really weird. I look like a crazy foreigner with purple
balloons pinned to me. Plus it was really hot!
It's hard to tell that Boo even has a wig on.

We threw a Halloween party at our Hag won.
For a lot of the kids it was their first Halloween party.
We made a lot of noise and an enormous mess, but had mounds of
fun in the process.

"Tommy" got second place for his costume

These kids are sisters. They remind me
exactly of Carly and I when we were little.
Their English names are Emily and Holli.

We had the most unsanitary bobbing for apples ever.
Notice that each of the apples have about four different bite
marks They are all from different people.

Health code violations

Playing Pin the tail on the cat with
the Kindergarten
students.

Choco-pie spiders and Ghost suckers,
all thanks to my mom's expertise.

Missionaries and Friends

Here in our church we have six missionaries.
We try to have them over about once a month.
Last weekend I made Americanized Mexican food.
In America that kind of meal would have been horrible,
but here my fine cooking/microwaving skills were appreciated.

Friends from church who came to experience the
wrath of my cooking.

More Juny...is there really anything more important than that?

Juny Ju looking all cute after her bath

Where we live there is a shortage of big dogs.
Juny has made friends with the only other big dog that
we have seen in Changwon. Her name is Ya Cha,
she is a malamute. We arrange play dates with her owner
Sung Mee. Sung Mee also has a smaller dog named
Asura.
They like to run in circles when they get together. We went hiking a few weeks ago and found this
Praying Mantis. I was praying too, that it would not kill
me and my dog.

Boo and Juny on our hike.

Every night we come home from work,
to find the bed all messed up. This night it was
especially bad. She knows that she is not allowed up there,
so she waits until we leave to take her nap
on our bed. If you look at the picture up close she looks crazy.

DAVE FLANDRO AS PRESIDENT

So the cat is out of the bag, my dad is running for president. I think he's got a chance!
Remember to vote for him!
New Presidential nominee

BEWARE OF DOG!

Juny Ju sharpening her teeth just in case
she needs to bite you!

She looks a little drunk here.

Juny with her new house. She cries every time we
put her in it. Boo's mom (who I think has
hidden super powers) sent us tons of chestnuts.
She is really little, but the package she sent us
had to weigh about 30 pounds. I am convinced she
is hiding some sort of supper power like the
incredibles from us. If you know of any
nice ways to use chestnuts please let me know.
So far all I know is all the girls in my
family are getting chestnut earrings for Christmas!
