Last Saturday marked the beginning of Buddha's
Birthday celebrations. This Monday May 12Th is his
official birthday. In Chang won there was an
early celebration in the center of the city.
This was one of my favorite floats.
Here is Boo in front of the party. I was able to score
some free books on Buddhism, Buddhist philosophy
printed on paper with a special handmade printing press
and coloring pages of Buddha for Alex and Emma.
