Updates

Here are some updates of last week.
Most importantly SPRING IS HERE!!
I really hate the end of winter when it is cold and everything
is dead. But finally spring has arrived.
Spring in Korea is beautiful. By the time My sister Jenn and her
boyfriend Scott come spring will be in full bloom.

Juny made a new friend with a male Jindo dog.
This dog looks really mean, but it was really sweet and friendly.
We named it 신사 (Shin Saw) or Gentleman.
He is ten years old but still does not have a name.

We also went hiking on Saturday. We have
always wanted to climb to the top of
this mountain in back of our apartment.
It took about three hours but we finally
did it.

Juny came with us and had a great time!

This sign says, "Danger do not swim,
the lake is deep and dangerous"
The lake is in back of us, or should I say
at one time was in back of us. Now it
is just a big pile of mud.

On the way down the mountain we met some goats.
Juny wanted to become friends, but the goats were a
little scared of her.

Even though I am wearing the same clothes this is
a different small hike we went on. We are standing in a
barrack that the Korean government made in case of war.
