How How How?

For all blogging buddies I have a question. I will give you a million dollars if you answer. (that part is a lie)
How do you get the list of buddies that shows which blogs have been updated? You know so you don't end up checking the same blog entry over and over? I am apparently to dense to figure it out!

More Korean food

I found these at the small shop across
from our house. The Korean on it says
"Choco hot cake u" and they were only
2,400 won. About the same as $2.40

This is my favorite 떡(tuck)
or rice cake. It is pumpkin flavor.
It has chestnuts, pumpkin seeds, almonds
and
red beans on the top.
This picture does not do it justice.

These are my two favorite Korean fruits.
The ones in the bowl are called 뗑검 (Dang Gam).
I have never seen them in America they are the size
of Cherry tomatoes, but taste like sweet oranges.
They are usually only out in the summer and spring,
but we saw them in the market on Wednesday so we had
to buy them. The other fruit are 꽃검 (Goat Gam)
Or dehydrated persimmon.

We walked just through the market today and
Boo took some pictures.
Are these fish pretty?

Juny's Early Valentine

Juny Ju decided to spread her valentine love early this year. She would like to dedicate this special Juny made,
one of a kind
valentine to her vet who over priced her surgery by
at least $150
and to the man in our building who lied
and said that Juny tried to
jump up on him and attack him in the elevator. He almost got Juny
kicked out
of our apartment until we
suggested to the apartment manager to look at
the video taken from the elevator camera.

Juny Ju January

Juny Ju has had a hard
year so far.

She got her "Woman" surgery so
she can't have puppies.
She bit her doctor. (I would bite my
doctor too if he or she took my uterus)
And because of the stitches from her surgery
she could not go on the long walks she
use to get two times a day.
She also made a new hobby of humping.
(I won't elaborate)
But things are starting to look up for her.
She stoped humping and is back to her old self.
We took her for a nice long walk today.
She also was able to debut her new sweater
we got her from America.

Juny having fun and looking
good in her new sweater.

The Seoul LDS Temple

On Saturday we went to the Seoul LDS Temple.
We started on Friday night after Boo was done working.
We took the bus from 1:00 a.m.-6:00 a.m. We then took
the subway for about 45 minutes. We haven't been able
to go in a while so it was fun to go.
On the way back we took the bus the Stake (group of
LDS churches) arranged.
Boo and I after a temple session and no sleep.

New Years Resolutions

I have been thinking alot about what I want to
do better this year. In no particular order.....
1. I want to push myself harder to get things done.
(I tend to be a little to laid back at times)
2. Be at at least an intermediate level of Speaking and
understanding Korean.
3. Stick up for myself more. (not let the grandma's at
E-mart push me around and the Kids at the Hag Won take
advantage of the foreign teacher)
AKA (In white trash language) I am going to grow some balls
4. I am going to be more environmental
-Try to recycle more things
-Bring my own cloth bags to the market
-Try to avoid buying things with a lot of needless packaging
-Unplug cell phone chargers, turn off heat and water heater, lights
and computers
5. Eat more healthy
- Be able to make a week of dinners that don't involve cheese
-drink more water
-no more soda (my kidneys need a rest)
-learn how to cook healthy Korean food
-when we move to Monterrey start a garden or join a co-op
6. Be more active
- Be one of those people that can go to REI and look like I belong there
-When I am stressed relive it by walking and jogging and not by diet coke and sweets
-Go hiking more
-When in California take advantage of the outdoors there
-have better sleeping patterns
7. Be well read
-read more current events, academic articles, books, scriptures
-read less celebrity gossip

Hopefully I will be successful.

Last but not least St. George

We love to visit St. George. I love doing outdoors stuff in St. George
and eating food out of my mother's pantry. We only had a few
days there which proved to be far to few.

and celebrating The start of the new year.

Northern Utah

The second part of our trip was spent in Northern Utah.
Mostly in Salt Lake and Layton. It is beyond
words to say how great it was to spend time with family
and friends. Most of all my sisters and parents.

I can only hope that once Boo and I are married
as long as my parents that we can be as happy
as they are. This picture really captures the essence
of their love for each other.
